Tenafly Youth Basketball Information

Registration for the 2011-2012 Tenafly Youth Basketball season is now open

TYB is the Tenafly in town recreation basketball league for grades 3-8. Play begins in November after Thanksgiving and includes practices and a 10 game schedule that runs through March. Game jerseys and other player goodies are included with the $90 registration fee.

Games are played at various schools throughout town and are refereed by certified refs. This is a non competitive basketball program open to players of all skill levels, including those kids who have never played basketball before.

A PeeWee Basketball Clinic is available for 1st and 2nd grade boys and girls from Tenafly on Saturdays from January 7th thru February 11th, 2012 at the Tenafly Middle School. The 2nd graders play from 2-3 pm and the 1st graders from 3-4 pm. The cost is $85 including a TYB jersey and basketball. A Challenger clinic will also be offered.

A travel basketball program for those recreation players seeking a more competitive level of play is also available.

Registration runs through October 31, 2011.
Thereafter, late fees will apply.
